Chestnut Hill women seriously injures head in snowmobile crash with son



A Chestnut Hill woman riding a rented snowmobile with her 10-year-old son crashed Monday on the Lower Haystack Trail in Bartlett, New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game announced.

Around 3 p.m., officials were notified of a crash on the Lower Haystack Trail off Bear Notch Road, the department said in a statement. The driver, Jiamin Wei, 40, failed to make a left turn while driving downhill and went off the road into a ditch and hit a tree.

Wei and her son were part of a tour group when the accident happened, according to the statement. The tour guide quickly called for help and gave department officials his location.
