Abdel Naser Alyagbeh ID’d as man ejected, killed in Duxbury crash



The driver who died Monday morning after a car crashed into a guardrail on Route 3 in Duxbury has been identified as Abdel Naser Alyagbeh, Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz’s office announced.

Around 4:52 a.m., fire officials received a 911 call about a vehicle crash near Mile Marker 23.4 on Route 3 southbound, the Duxbury Fire Department said in a statement. On-duty firefighters were on call to respond to another emergency, requiring off-duty firefighters to go to the crash site.

Massachusetts State Police also received a 911 call and arrived at the scene of the crash, Cruz’s office said in a statement. Preliminary findings from the investigation show that the driver, Alyagbeh, 53, was ejected after he swerved to the right shoulder of the road.

Alyagbeh died before first responders arrived, Cruz’s office said.

There were no passengers inside the car and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the statement.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
