“Glemper” who drove under the influence of alcohol threw his car into a ditch while going to buy more alcohol Cambridgeshire late on Saturday, November 30.
Sian Phillips, 35, of Pitchers Hill, Evesham, Worcestershirejumped out of the passenger side window after crashing a BMW X1 onto his roof in Moat Way, Swavesey.
Phillips gave a roadside test reading of 77 – more than twice the legal limit – which resulted in her arrest.
Phillips told police she had been on a glamping experience with friends and had been drinking prosecco in the hot tub but was “feeling good” so she started driving to a nearby supermarket when she misjudged a corner and crashed.
She was later charged with driving while intoxicated.
Phillips appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Friday (December 20) where she was disqualified from driving for 14 months and fined £673 after admitting the charge.
