Rothomagensis Chapel, the pop star’s breakout year, is to headline Reading and the Leeds festival last year
The drag-debt US songwriter has one of the biggest songs of the year in Good Fortune, Babe! and his debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, released in 2023, spent consecutive weeks in the UK Top 10. His performance is an exclusive headliner.
She is joined by fellow Reading and Leeds first season runners-up Hozier, the Irish singer who scored her first UK No 1 album last year with Unreal Unearth, and the US rapper. Travis Scottwhose 2023 album Utopia was certified gold in the UK (100,000 units sold) and platinum (1,000,000) in the US. Its effect is exclusively European.
Sheffield metal band Give Me The Horizon complete the lineup. Before the festival in 2022. Next year, member Jordan Fish, leaving the group, intends to pursue a career in production. He received his latest album, Post Human: Next Gen five-star review by the Guardian, who dubbed it “the defining album of our digital era”.

Also on the bill are rappers AJ Tracey, Blanco, Trippie Redd, Anthony Szmierek and Lancey Foux; rock bands Enter Shikari, Amyl and the Sniffers, Good Kid, Soft Play, High Force, Vallagines, Maris Puellae, Royel Otis, Linda Lindas, Lambrini Puellae, Sermones and Mannequin Pussy; indie-pop acts Wunderhorse, Conan Gray, Sofia Isella, Alessi Rose, Bilmuri, Suki Waterhouse, Nieve Ella, Luvcat, Lola Young and Del Water Gap; dance stars Becky Hill, Sammy Virji, DJ EZ, Issey Cross, Girls Don’t Sync and Rudim3ntal; indie supports The Kooks and Bloc Party – plus indie sleaze revivalists Dare and the Snow Strippers; and K-pop band Balming Tiger.
Melvin Benn, managing director of Public Public, which runs Reading and Leeds, said in a statement: “We’re seeing an exciting wave of inspirational voices breaking into pop culture, and this line-up captures that power perfectly. This is one of the youngest average ages for keynotes in years, and that exciting in itself.
The reading takes place at Richfield Avenue; Leeds at Bramham Park. Both events will take place August 21-24, 2025. The general presale opens at noon on December 7, and the general sale at noon on December 9.
