Oleksander Usyk says he hasthe secret” is planning his rematch with Tyson Fury this Saturday night. He states that he and his team watched his fight with Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) last May and came up with a game plan against him.
Usika may not need a secret plan to defeat Fury as he looks pretty worn out this week. Gypsy King Fury looks like he struggled during training camp, and may have overdone his preparations. It took a toll on Fury mentally, losing for the first time.
United heavyweight champion Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) neutralized Fury’s striking tactics that he has used effectively in many of his recent fights over the past four years since adding SugarHill Steward as his trainer. That strategy involves holding and leaning.
It didn’t work against Usyk and Francis Ngannou, the matches Fury fought. As he got older, Fury became too dependent on mauling to win his fights.

Usyk: “I have a secret” for Fury
“It will be a great fight. “I feel that I will win,” said Usyk. “Same again, because that’s my plan.” Maybe we have a new (plan), because I’ve been working. We know a little because we watched the fight. I have a new secret.”
Fury looked physically worn out during the big arrivals today, suggesting he may have shed too much weight in a hurry. He hasn’t looked like this again in his first fight in seven months, and you have to wonder if he overdid it in training camp.
They called Fury’s camp “Prison” and he reportedly trained with Moses Itauma, among many other heavy hitters. Did they take something from Fury, leaving the gaunt, aging giant we saw this week? If Fury loses the rematch, he’ll have a good excuse to tell the fans, blaming it on the hype in training camp.
A second Fury loss would spoil Turk Alalshih’s plans for their trilogy match. Turki told Fury this week to “do the job” against Usyk, which is easier said than done. If you saw the ninth round of the first fight, it is an almost impossible task for Fury to win without the referee interfering to prevent Usyk from knocking him out.
