A perfect pastry shop in the capital of Europe, Portugal
Sweet, soft, crispy, quite dense and fluffy – we found the perfect pastry. We all think when we wake up in the delightful Ericeira, 30 miles north of Lisbon. We’re here for the surf – Ericeira is the world’s surf resort – but really hedgehogThe unique bakery work is enough to visit this town. It translates as “hedgehog” but also “sea urchin” (sea urchin) and hedgehogs adorn the town. We enjoy the confusion – even our Portuguese friend seems unsure of the origin of the artery. We get them in Fernanda House. We say take them to the beach, they’re a few steps down the road, we really can’t wait for them to eat right out of the box. We will return as usual.

Mosque and munchie, Prizren, Kosovo
When visiting Prizren in Kosovo, I was thinking about when I will return. Overlooking the winding streets of the city from the mountain citadel, Prizren is the jewel of the Balkans. But Burek SarajevoI paid €1.50 for a pastry bag; but iğköfte EviI ate one of the best vegan dishes I tried with bulgur noodles; and at * Sara SweetsI found Prizren’s legendary baklava. All this is just a few minutes’ walk from the Sinan Pasha Mosque and the main square.

I find the London Loop capital adventure
The 150-thousand, he himself led London Loop The walking tour with friends is split into 24 sections (all with a map and instructions) combining gorgeous historic buildings and beautiful open spaces – on most days they forget we’re still in London. The modern airport found a pocket surrounded by colorful flora and fauna, next to Heathrow’s perimeter fence. The juxtaposition of the serene natural world against the roaring planes just a few meters overhead coming to land was absolutely stunning. We bring a packed lunch from home as the price of the travel card, each part is an incredible adventure and value for money in these challenging times.

Dam end a town near Bruges
Bruges has loads to offer, but I can’t recommend a trip to the picturesque village of Damme enough. To Dammam, either cycle the three miles through the marshes of Bruges, or in the summer months take the Bruges to Dammam boat, as they call it. Claudius Goedzak. The village dates back to the 15th century and boasts amazing Gothic architecture – especially its town and church. The small high street of Damme is lined with old shops, bookstores, galleries, cafes and restaurants. To eat Siphon It is a well-known roadside establishment, with a large menu offering traditional Belgian delicacies and an on-site brewery.

Moroccan movie set
Visiting Aït Benhaddou in Morocco felt like stepping into a movie – literally. The Unesco site is a Hollywood retreat, seen in Gladiator and Game of Thrones. To truly experience its magic, stay overnight at a local hotel. After the tourist vans had left, and the sun began to set, the place became still and silent, and I explored mine. And I will never forget the terrible sight of the rising sun from my roof. Don’t miss this amazing pizzeria run by two Italian friends next door.

Genteel, staged and attractive Lausanne
Lausanne is a busy Swiss city that punches well above its weight. Time in Lausanne requires effort as the city is full of winding mountain roads like San Francisco. From the railway station it is a steep climb up to medieval streets with beautiful churches and stunning views. There are snow-capped Alpine peaks, twinkling across Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) to the south and east as you walk along the palm-fringed water promenade. I was also able to renew my swim there. The city has a more refined atmosphere with classic French inspired dishes such as steaks cooked in a creamy mushroom sauce and white wine. Check out the fascinating Olympic Museum lest he should be shamefully neglected Collection of Brut Artswhich features unusual paintings and sculptures by skilled artists who work outside the mainstream.

Arrival every day in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan
The holiday in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan offers adventure, wonder or experience every day. They are outstanding in their speech and chatter. Alpine lands feel no crowds. The culture is about yurts and horses. We walked one way to the mountain lake and back, visited a yurt-making factory, and watched an eagle hunting demonstration. Swimming in Issyk-Kul, the second largest mountain lake in the world (after Lake Titicaca in Bolivia/Peru) was another highlight. There are interesting Dungan (Hui people of Muslim origin) and Soviet influence particularly in the mosques and war monuments of the cities of Almaty and Bishkek.

A national park in Ireland with sensational walking
It is well established that Galway is a fun and charming city with lots to offer in terms of food, culture and nightlife. It certainly does, especially on the weekend I visited, during the St. Paddy’s Day celebrations. But I was ready for jaw dropping Connemara national park. A short drive northwest of Galway, Connemara offers heaps of hikes, with views across the Atlantic mountains. My favorite was trampled yet stunning The summit of Diamond Hill. Plains of palmy mountains, forests and plains. During the week I was able to explore all that Connemara has to offer.

Winning tip: Better than Barcelona – the joy of Tarracon
Tarragona is only an hour’s drive from Barcelona, and is well worth the trip. It offers an authentic Spanish vibe, unlike its tourist-packed neighbor. The medieval old town is beautifully preserved and alive with locals, while its own Rambla (Rambla Nova) invites you to stroll in the evenings. Explore the Roman ruins, enjoy tapas and beer at the flea market, or head to the harbor for fresh, affordable seafood. As in any case, Tarracon boasts a stunning coastline, making it the perfect escape from the crowds of Barcelona.
