Keir Starmer visits British forces serving on the Russian border after saying Ukraine needs more money and resources.
The Prime Minister was speaking at a conference in the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) Estoniathere he met the leaders of the other Baltic states.

“That’s understandable, and Ukraine wants every opportunity it can get, so we all think we can put more into Ukraine by way of weapons.”
The labor leader added: “A lot of money has been raised, money has been raised, but more work is needed.”
Jonas Gahr Støre in Bergen, Starmer flew to Estonia, where he spoke with Støre and their Estonian counterpart, Kristen Michal.
Starmer also discussed making the economic case at home for continuing aid to Ukraine.
He said: “Making the case about the significance of Ukraine doubling the case, twisting it back to each of our regions – what does it mean if Russia succeeds is a really big question that we will have to answer among ourselves, to make it clear why we are so supportive of Ukraine, why we must stand with our allies, why we must make it so that Nato is also placed in the most important place.
“For this world is a different world 10, 20 years ago, to know the world we live in, there is also a positive reason to do it.
“Defense spending is not here to sit in a silo with no effect on the rest of the economy, no effect on technology.
“It has a great impact on technology, cutting-edge technology and change, which can then be used in other areas.”
“It binds the lands together. I think that we have all achieved common projects in terms of defense capabilities that bind us together.
The prime minister will once again attend the JEF summit, joining leaders from the Nordics and the Baltics to discuss support for Ukraine, the ongoing threat to Russia and wider European security.
British troops will visit the country to deter Russian forces.
