The Euro 2025 the draw takes place as the defending champion England and first time qualification Wales discover their opponents in the group stage ahead of next summer’s tournament in Switzerland.
The Lionesses they won home glory at Wembley at Euro 2022 as they beat Germany to lift their first major honour. But a mixed year of results means Sarina Wiegman‘s side are in Pool 2 of the draw for Euro 2025with Spain, France and Germany all potential opponents, along with hosts Switzerland.
Wales secured a historic place in the finals of Euro 2025 by defeating the Republic of Ireland in a play-off to win a major tournament for the first time. The debutants will be in Pot 4, and the draw will determine four groups of four teams, as well as the path to the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals of Euro 2025.

Euro 2025 draw: the stars involved
The afternoon draw will be hosted by former Arsenal and England legend Ian Wright alongside Swiss presenter Annette Fetscherin.
It will feature several stars from various European countries, including England’s Jill Scott, Switzerland’s Xherdan Shaqiri, France’s Raphael Varane, Italy’s Leonardo Bonucci and Germany’s Sami Khedira.

When is Euro 2025?
The tournament starts on 2nd July 2025 and the knockout stages start from 16th July. The Euro 2025 final will be played on July 27 in Basel.

The draw for Euro 2025 will take place today at 17:00 BST, and the drawing ceremony will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland. 16 teams will be drawn into four groups of four. There will be a live stream on the UEFA website.

England will defend their European title as the Euro 2025 draw is made ahead of next summer’s tournament in Switzerland.
The Lionesses won their first major honor on home soil when Sarina Wiegman’s side beat Germany at Wembley in July 2022.
A trip to the World Cup finals in Australia followed the following year, but results have been mixed for the Lionesses since that fall.
World champions Spain will be considered favorites ahead of England, France and a resurgent German side who beat the Lionesses at Wembley in October.
And England were joined by Wales in making the play-offs against the Republic of Ireland thanks to a historic 2-1 away win as they reached a major women’s tournament for the first time.
