Nancy Pelosi undergoes hip replacement surgery after fall in Europe

A spokesman said former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is “on the mend” after undergoing hip replacement surgery in Germany. The 84-year-old suffered a fall on Friday during a congressional trip to Luxembourg and was later flown to a US military hospital in Germany for surgery.
