A lottery player won $1 million on Friday night Mega Millions drawing
The winning numbers for the December 13 draw were 36, 43, 52, 58, 65 and Mega Ball: 16. The multiplier was 3X.
The $1 million ticket sold in Massachusetts matched the first five numbers but did not match the Mega Ball number. The winning ticket was sold at Ghafour Fuel in Norwood.
There were no Mega Millions winners Friday night, leaving the jackpot at about $740 million as of Saturday morning.
Additionally, a $100,000 prize was claimed from a “Diamond Deluxe” scratch game on Friday. The winning ticket was sold at Papi Grocery Store in Lawrence.
Additionally, four entries won $100,000 each in the “Massive cash” Friday night drawing. The winning numbers in the draw were 5, 6, 25, 26, 35.
All winning tickets matching all five numbers were sold at Nick’s Country Market in Sutton.
The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a complete list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
In all, at least 578 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed Friday in Massachusetts, including 13 in Springfield, 50 in Boston and 18 in Worcester.
So far, the the largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year it was worth a million dollars a year for life.
The prize was from the lottery”Millions of life” scratch card game. The The winner claimed their prize through a trust on July 10 and opted to receive a one-time payment of $15.4 million.
