Request for zoning change on Southampton Road withdrawn without prejudice

WESTFIELD – After a public hearing at the Dec. 9 City Council meeting on a zoning amendment to change a lot at 1295 Southampton Rd. from rural residential to residential B, filed by R. Levesque Associations for Plumrose Development, the petition was withdrawn without prejudice, meaning it could be resubmitted.

Rob Levesque, on behalf of property owners Matthew Gomes and David MacIver, said the purpose of the zoning change request to residential B is to add two additional lots to the 12-acre parcel to allow duplexes to be built.
