Brentford boss Thomas Frank believes Chelsea are the best team in Premier League ahead of Sunday’s London derby at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca‘s men enter the game at back from six straight wins in all competitions and reduced the gap to leaders Liverpool to four points.

“They are perhaps the best team in the Premier League at the moment. They may even be more informed than Liverpooleven though they’re top of the league,” Frank said.

“They play incredible football and are well coached. [Enzo] Maresca has done a superb job with his coaching staff so far and they look extremely dangerous.

“They have so many threats going forward and they have top players all over the field.

“I expect an incredibly difficult game. They are big favourites, but of course we believe we can compete against anyone and we believe we can win.”

Brentford have every reason to approach the game with confidence after bouncing back from their defeat at Aston Villa beat Newcastle last week.

And the Bees go into the game with an injury-plagued side as both Kristoffer Ajer and Vitaly Janelt have been added ready to take on Maresca’s side.

Janelt missed last week’s win over the Magpies, while Ayer returned to the bench after spending six weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury.

However, Mathias Jensen (hamstring) and Gustavo Nunes (back) face further weeks on the sidelines.
