Elon Musk has 12 children with three different partners but he manages to carve out quality time with the president-elect’s youngest son, Baron, while they talk about planets and video games.
The two apparently got along for the first time in the Trump family Thanksgiving dinner at Mar-a-Lago, where Musk has become a fixture. Musk sat at Donald Trump’s table with the president-elect and his 18-year-old son. Musk and Barron went down into space, said Musk’s mom, Maye Musk, who was also at the holiday dinner.
“Barron and Elon talked about planets” she told Fox Business host Neil Cavuto on Thursday.
“They were talking about different planets and why Mars is the best place to start a new civilization. I was very impressed with him, too,” she added, referring to Barron.
“They talked all night,” she later added on X. “Barron is very smart.”
Elon later reported this to X he and Barron were discussing “consciousness and video games”. Barron reportedly mostly hung out with his colleagues at New York University via the internet from his home in Manhattan’s Trump Tower as they play video games.
The president-elect later had a moment with his “best buddy” Musk as the two men “roughed it” together, stiffly, to Trump’s favorite song YMCA. Barron looked embarrassed. But that’s how it goes with brothers sometimes..
On the Trump clan, Maye Musk offered an interesting perspective: “They’re all wonderful, kind, sweet, generous, interesting and quiet, which is interesting because, as politicians, you can talk loudly.”
Elon Musk will likely have plenty of time to further nurture his relationship with Barron’s as he looks to buy A $100 million estate near Mar-a-Lagothe New York Post’s Page Six reported earlier this week.
