Undefeated IBF #8 Junior Middleweight Ardreal ‘Bossman’ Holmes, Jr. (17-0, 6 KOs) defeated ‘Silverback’ Edwin Junior Jimenez (9-1. 7 KOs) by unanimous decision on Thursday night in 10 rounds at the Dort Federal Event Center, Flint, Michigan. The results were 97-93, 97-93 and 97-93.
Joey ‘The Small Town Soldier’ Spencer won by majority vote over the previously undefeated Miguel Hernandez in the main event.
Southpav Ardreal ‘Bossman’ Holmes, Jr. defeated ‘The Silverback’ Edwin Junior Jimenez by 10-round decision in the main event.
In the first round, Holmes, with a 7” advantage in height, used an effective jab, taking an easy round. In the second and third rounds, a wild Jimenez came close as Holmes countered to the body. In the fourth round, Jimenez kept pressure on Holmes.
In the fifth and sixth rounds, Jimenez outclassed Holmes mostly to the body. In the seventh round, Holmes used his jab to take a close round.
In the eighth and ninth rounds, Holmes countered well enough, taking both rounds.
Jimenez controlled the first half of the round in the tenth, while Holmes used right jabs in the last half of a tight round.
The referee was Ben Rodriguez — the score was 97-93 for everyone.
In the co-main event, middleweight Joey ‘Small Town Soldier’ Spencer (19-1, 11 KOs) defeated Miguel Hernandez (9-1, 7 KOs) by majority decision in 10 rounds.
Spencer countered the up-and-coming Hernandez in a close round in the first. Midway to the bell, Hernandez put Spencer in the corner in the second. In the third round Spencer came back to do enough to take the round.
In the fourth round, Spencer dominated, landing a right uppercut to the chin with a minute left in Hernandez’s swing. In the fifth round, Hernandez came back, taking a close round.
Hernandez landed an effective jab in the sixth round that left Spencer’s cheekbones red. In the seventh round, Spencer came back with uppercuts to the chin of Hernandez, who took the round. In the eighth round, Hernandez outworked Spencer.
It went back and forth in the ninth round, with Spencer pulling it out. In the tenth and final round, with the fight to win, another close round with Hernandez.

Super lightweight Samantha ‘The Heat’ Worthington (10-0, 7 KOs) defeated Jaica ‘The Hit Maker’ Pavilus (4-7-1, 1 KO) in 6×2 rounds.
In the first three rounds, Worthington unloaded on Pavilus, who was turning into a southpaw at times.
In the final seconds of the fourth round, Worthington landed Pavilus with a right to the chin. In the fifth round, it was all Worthington. In the sixth and last round, after a minute, Worthington shook Pavilus from the south with a right cross. In the final minute, a clash of heads opened a cut on Worthington’s left eyebrow.

Middleweight Da’Vale Smith (11-0, 8 KOs) won a controversial majority decision over lefty William ‘Turbo’ Townsell (8-2, 6 KOs) in eight rounds.
Halfway through the first round, a right and then a left from Smith to the chin and down, Townsell was for some reason out of the count, denied by referee Ben Rodriguez. Smith continued to use his jab to control the second round.
In the third round, Townsell landed his first effective punch in the first minute, and the lead remained on Smith’s chin. Smith did well after that until Townsell landed another left to the chin in the final twenty seconds. In the final seconds, Smith made a combination. Midway through the fourth round, Smith hit Townsella in the chin. Townsell rocked Smith with a right hook to the chin in the final seconds.
In the fifth round, Townsell dominated the round, backing up Smith all over the ring, landing mostly lead lefts to the chin. Smith was able to counter in the sixth round and may have outmatched Townsell.
Halfway through the seventh round, Townsell rocked Smith with a flying left to the chin. In the last minute, Townsell hit three lefts in Smith’s chin. In the eighth and final round, it was all Townsell. In the final seconds, Smith was exhausted, grabbed Townsell and pushed him across the ring to the ropes.

Heavyweight Pryce Taylor (5-0, 3 KOs) stopped Keshawn Jackson (1-4) in the first round of a four-round bout.
Superflyweight Byron Rojas (29-4-3, 11 KOs) defeated Robin ‘Gravedigger’ Ellis (6-8, 5 KOs) in eight rounds.
Featherweight Caroline Weir (8-1) defeated Gabriela ‘La Gabi’ Bouvier (19-14-1, 4 KOs) in 10×2 rounds.
Junior middleweight Hunter Lee (1-0, 1 KO) knocked out Derrick Shreve (0-1) in the first round.
