‘This mother had to kill me to stop me’: Tim Tsziu talks about loss and redemption

Breaking his silence after a brutal third-round knockout, Tim Tsziu suffered his second career loss. Speaking with Fox News AustraliaAustralian fighter revealed harrowing details about his physical and emotional recovery. “I couldn’t feel my legs and my brain was fuzzy.” “Every shot I got hit was like a bomb going off,” Tsu said, recalling the fight. “In my head I thought, ‘This motherfucker is going to have to kill me to get me out of here.’

The fight ended with Tsziu knocking him down four times, suffering his first concussion. He spent the night in the hospital, he can’t sleep. “It was a strange feeling,” he said. “What hurts me is that I didn’t manage to show myself. I just humiliated myself and embarrassed myself in front of the whole world.”

Adding insult to injury, Tsziu’s fiancee, Alex, suffered vile abuse from the trolls. “People say things to her and things like that, but the fact that she’s able to deal with it shows her character,” he said. “Not to my lady, not to my family.” That’s not right.”

Despite the setbacks, Tsziu remains defiant. “I don’t know how many times I got knocked down, but no matter what, I always got back up.” I was ready to die there,” he said.

Now, Tsziu wants to reconnect with his roots and Australian fans. “I want to bring back the old school – no technology, no statistics, no numbers.” Just pure grinding. “I feel like I’ve left my Aussie fans chasing the stars,” he admitted. “Australia has always been in my heart.”

And he couldn’t help but take a stab at American coffee: “You can’t get good coffee in Vegas. I missed my dog, my missus, the fresh Australian air and my local coffee shop.”
