3 minutes: You’ve had the ball in the city almost every game so far, and they finally worked de Bruyne to the right. Di Gregorio takes his cross.
1 minute: City kicked off and immediately went one-way, Ederson lobbed a long ball downfield and won the ensuing throw-in.
Coins are exchanged and coins are tossed. Kyle Walker tossed the win. “Friends, Mancunians, peasants … I do not come to bury Walker, but to praise! Frankly, if Citeh have little problems, it will be a failure on Mr Fast’n’Reliable’s part. Yes, he can fire a bit more than before, but maybe it’s also down to weaknesses elsewhere in Guardiola’s meta-verse system? Any team would be lucky to have a team that always gives a full 100% pitch and never lets the management or teammates down in tough times. Bye, Kyle!”
The players go out; and around the ground the earth turns its favorite color-cod flags.
This, I say, will do; right?
Great pre-match news Matheus Nunes has small boots with his face in them.
A little more in accordance with your lesson; this time from writer/developer Ben McAleer for WhoScored. Is this the end of the road for Kyle Walker?
The hardest thing a professional footballer can do is allow his race to run. Gary Neville did this at the pumps at the Hawthorns on New Year’s Day 2011. He retired a month later. The infamous 71-minute display was a testament to the poor performances made by the over-the-top players. “He had his Neville-at-West Brom moment,” quipped the fans. Kyle Walker has had a lot of fun these last few months, but it seems that he is not the one to call the end of his career.
Walker is one of the most decorated full-backs in the history of English football. The Premier League, FA Cup, FA Cup and Champions League – the 34-year-old has won them all since leaving Tottenham for Manchester City in 2017. Now, in a real case, it won’t increase his trophy haul.
Much more here;
Here is a little bit of Jamie Jackson on Pep Guardiola’s statement this stint at Manchester city It will be his last job in club management. I do not believe, but it does not seem equivocal;
Sometimes it is enough to feel, and in time I will stop. I will stop. I’m not going to join another team, I’m not going to go to another country [for a club]. I don’t have the energy. Now I’m still here, but to start thinking again, the whole training process, no, no.
Here is Jamie’s story:

Hello world!
Will this be any good? I’m very optimistic, but given the form of both sides it’s hard to say. Juventus they have drawn their last four matches, five of their last six, and seven of their last nine. During that time they tied 0-0 (twice), 1-1 (twice), 2-2 (twice) and fought from 4-2 to 4-4 (once). They are absolute mages. While it is true to say that they did not lose nine, they also won only two. In more columns, Douglas Luiz and Weston McKennie could both return from injury tonight.
The less said about the last nine games of Manchester City the better, but for the record they have lost nine and drawn two (including in the last. Champions League game, 3-3 Juventus ordered to finish the job). And for this game without stones John, Nathan Ake, Mateo Kovacic and Oscar Bobb, plus Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji.
This is what Thiago Motta, the Juventus coach, had to say about this fixture;
I don’t think it’s the best time to play Manchester City, but we’ll face our opponents like we always do, trying to stop them from playing their football and impose our style on them. We are ready to give everything in our game, carefully analyzing what we should do and what we should not do against such a formidable opponent. I can’t judge the current situation, but this is a team that has proven immense value over the years. I have huge respect for them and for coach Pep Guardiola, for whom things simply speak for themselves, as he managed to win everything and consistently. We know Manchester City want to attack and keep the ball. We will defend well and have great quality when we have possession.
Come, then, Juve, let us see how earnestly you have done it, then.
