The National Meteorological Service published a flood warning on Wednesday at 12:44 AM until 2:45 AM for the counties of Bristol and Plymouth.
“At 12:44 AM, the doppler radar said that storm storms that produce heavy rains through the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen from the storms that have fallen throughout the area warned today. The expected rise rate is 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Area warned.
The locations affected by the warning include New Bedford, Fall River, Taunte, Dartmouth, Bristol, Somerset, Portsmouth, Barrington, Fairhaven, Swansea, Tiverton, Westport, Seekonk, Rehoboth, Warrenen, Lakeville, Acconchnet, Freetown, Dighton and Berkley.
