The narrative focuses on a group of settlers in the San Pedro valley, wrapped in a land dispute with the native Americans during the tumultuous period of the North -American Civil War.
Costner joined Jon Baird to hang the script, which is based on an original story elaborated by the couple and Mark Kasdan.

Horizon: A American Saga: Chapter 2 was published in September 2024 and the third chapter production is currently underway.
