Worcester: Five runs in the fourth ticket and solid launch of all alone gave the Westfield Starfires Everything they needed, as they exceeded 12-4 in the Worcester Bravehearts on Wednesday night at Fitton Field.
Starfires travel to 6-12 of the season, reaching a streak of ten games for the Bravehearts. Worcester falls to 12-5, still maintaining a 2.5 games on the Monsters of Lake Vermont for the first time in the standings.
The Marist Cody Hessellton product received a call to the mound for the starfires and was impressive soon. The Bravehearts won three runners in the first three entrances, but two of these players were trapped stealing on the base roads and the Bravehearts could not go to the scoreboard.
At the other end, Worcester’s headline, Evan McCarthy, was cutting through the starfires. In the second, North -East Husky Anthony Ruggiero reached the third after a simple, stolen base and wild terrain, but two attacks ended with the entrance.
