How to buy Nintendo Switch 2 in the US
Nintendo
If you want to buy a switch 2 from Nintendo, the gigant still applies its system only. To be eligible, you need an active 12-month oversubscription to switch and at least 50 hours of playing on your Nintendo account. Even then there is no guarantee that you will receive an invitation.
If selected, you will receive a notification with a purchase window. The invitations are still being sent but were sporadic. For now, quotas are slender, but it is still worth registering interest via my Nintendo store.
Walmart
Walmart’s online stock is a flicker and from the outside from the beginning. The consoles and packages occasionally appear again without warning, so it is worth checking the site during the day. There is no row or fall schedule – if in the warehouse, first came first served.
The availability in the store is also widely varied. Some locations received additional units after launch, while others sold out quickly. If you plan to visit, it is best to call in advance to check local stock levels before you go out.
Target
The goal had more restoration online from starting, with short access to availability before selling again. Orders can be placed for home delivery or with a collection of the same day, depending on the local inventory. There is no restoration schedule, so often refreshing assistance.
Some physical stores can have the rest of the stock, but the goal does not guarantee access to the store. The staff handed the tickets on the day of launch, and since then it was limited. Online remains your best option.
Costco
Costco currently switch 2 beams online for members. The package includes a console, Mario Kart Worldand 12-month online switch + expansion membership. Orders set now shows delivery within three working days.
Stock could change quickly as words expanding, and you will need an active membership of Costco to check. If you prefer shopping, it is worth calling a local warehouse to confirm whether units are available on site.
Best shopping
The best purchase is only a Nintendo switch 2 in the store. There is no possibility of buying a console via the Internet – only accessories and games are listed. Your only option is to try your nearest store.

Gamestop
