On Saturday, it took additional tickets for the Blue Sox Valley to suffer the first loss of the Necl 2025 season.
The Blue Sox made three errors, and many were expensive. Andrew Wertz, Valley’s pitcher Andrew Wertz, in the tenth post, marked a runner and put another on the third. This allowed Brody Dalton from NAV to win in a RBI of Sacrifice Fly.
The Blue Sox moved to 2-1 of the season, while the sailors won their first victory of the season. Its record is 1-3.
“Those who are the type of stick are the pitchers who take care of their position and their position, so we do [pitchers fielding practice]”, Said the Manager Endy Morales from the areas he wants to improve.
“But ultimately, it is difficult to replicate the nerves you get in a game. When you see the ball that comes to you and you are slowing down your arm down because you only launched 95, it’s a difficult thing.”
What started as a stormy day in Holyoke became an ideal environment for baseball. The sky was cleaned in time for a delay at 7 p.m., on a night when the Blue Sox celebrated the Night of the Fame of the Fame of the Massachusetts of Western Massachusetts.
Tyler Bak de Valley continued his hot streak, spending 3-3 at night with an RBI and keeping his average of 1,000 season. Mike Lucarelli went 2-4 with an RBI, and Michael Elko collected a success, walking and RBI at four at bats.
In North Shore, Sam Parks passed 2-2. Dalton picked up the lone RBI for sailors, as the other three runs came out.
The Blue Sox launched five pitchers, reaching 13 attacks. Andrew Wertz received loss. Ryan Griffin from North Shore won the victory and Cole Yennaco won salvation.
The Blue Sox will continue their 2025 campaign tomorrow afternoon when they host the Ocean State waves at the Mackenzie Stadium, and coach Morales wants to continue to build the atmosphere of the place that their team calls at home.
“One thing I have challenged to do it is to protect the Mack. I want this to be a difficult place to win, so I really hope they present to this energy. I do not have to jump from the walls of the mouth. I just want them to be ready to compete and return to the victory column,” he said.
