Promoter Bob Arum says that Keishavn Davis “next heir” to replace Vasili Lomachenko for his superior company after today’s Retirement Lom. Arum feels that Keishavn (13-0, 9 Kos) is a real man who filled the emptiness left by former world champion with three divisions Lomachenko.

The fans would not match the key that took over for Lomachenko, but you can’t blame Arum to want him. He has suffered a lot of money in Davis’s career and wants to be a star. However, promoters cannot force the public to love the fighter if you do not beat the opposition at the elite level.
It worked for arum in converting Tyson Furi in Star, and he has only two notable victories on his resume: how to fade the 39-year-old Vladimir Klitschko and Dentai Wilder. It is harder to turn a fighter in Mega-Star at 135, 140 and 147, because they must fight a good opposition. I can’t face washed old guys who are champions in paper, as we saw with Fury.
Davis v. Lomachenko Comparison

He will not conquer the world title if he has to go through one of those fighters. As such, Arum will have to fight someone else to replace Lomachenko because Keishawn is a bad replacement.

“One of my fighters, Vasili Lomachenko, withdrew and the next successor for him is beak. So, I’m looking forward to the next few years,” said Promoter Bob Arum Fighthipe. “That’s fine. The words don’t disturb me,” said Arum about back and back between Keishavn and Abdullah Masses on Stage.
