Ukraine and Russia Peace Talks in Istanbul end with small progress

Peace conversations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul ended barely an hour after they started yesterday.

Conversations – Other such direct contacts between the 2022 parties. – They have already started almost two hours later than they planned without explaining the delay.

Although the atmosphere was muffled and dialogue, the talks gave an agreement on the performance of new exchanges of prisoners, and Ukraine said another round of talks on the agenda.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Moderner, who has started the delegation of Kiev, was announced that a new share of prisoners of at least 1,000 more soldiers had been agreed to continue to replace the prisoners of the war in the last round of conversation.

He said the new exchange would focus on those seriously injured in the war and on young people.

Mr. Moderner also said that Moscow handed over his own draft Peace Agreement in Ukraine and that Kiev – who pulled out his own version – was reviewed by the Russian document.

Ukraine proposed several conversations before the end of June, but he believes that only a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodyyra Zelenic and Russian President Vladimir Putin can solve many questions claimed, Mr. Modern.

The Chief of Staff of Mr. Zelenic, Andriy Yermak, said the Kiev delegation had surrendered a list of children who said she was deported to Russia and who wanted. Moscow says such children were moved to protect them from fighting.

Mr. Moderner said that Kiev could not react to Russia’s suggestions for peace because he only saw them just in conversations yesterday.
