A popular restaurant in New England is planning to open its most recent location later this year.
Tavern in the square He plans to open his new Brainree restaurant in late summer/early fall, a spokesman for the company told Masslive.
The restaurant will take care of the old TGI space on Friday at 60 Forbes Road de Braintree.
Brain Tavern in the square will have a large bar and interior dining room, as well as a large covered patio.
“We are excited to bring the tavern to the square experience on the southern shore and we hope to be part of the Braintree community,” said the spokesman.
The opening would mark Tavern in the 14th place of Massachusetts in the square and its 18th general, joining the new Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island locations.
The chain’s restaurant is also looking for a new location in Bedford, New Hampshire, according to its Website.
