The cardinals occupied the first two games with Strong Starts by Marcus Tran (6-1, 6-2) and Oliver Tran (6-2, 4-6, (10-3)), who have helped to open the 12-3 record of Pope Francis this season.
Although the Spartans pointed out the third victory of singles with Levi Citrin (7-6, 6-2), the cardinals responded to sweep the doubles, with both duos winning their games in 6-2, 6-4 to get their ticket in the final round.
Pope Francis will face East Longmeadow’s number 2 for the WMASS Tournament title for a date and an hour that should still be announced.
2 East Longmeadow (5), no. 3 Ludlow (0)
East Longmeadow dominated 5-0 victory over Ludlow on Western Mass Road B Monday.
Jack Serafni (6-0, 6-4), William Beagle (6-4, 6-4) and Dulchinos (6-3, 6-1) declined to win their singles games for the Spartans. In doubles, Samuel Sares and Sean O’Neill (6-3,6-0) and Michael and Luke Lonczak’s brother (6-1.6-0) helped lower a sweep by East Longmeadow.
After dividing in the regular season with the Lions, losing the first game and winning the second, the Spartans showed being dominant on Monday.
East Longmeadow will now assume Pope Francis’ number 4 at a TBD date and time.

Pioneer Valley Chinese Imtersion Charter School advanced with an emphatic victory over Mount Greylock, 4-1.
Lee Ferguson and Derek Ye did a short job of their opponents in the first and second bachelor, with each of which lost one game in their respective games.
Gabe Loinaz was forced to lose the third game of singles, suffering an injury after winning the first game of the first set.
Teddy and James Scott fought for a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Keaton Repetto and Nico Mcweeny in the first doubles game.
Simon Speek and Devan Ye did a quick work of the second doubles game, winning 6-1, 6-0.
PVCics will face Lenox in the Class C.

No. 1 Longmeadow (5), no. 4 East Longmeadow (0)
Longmeadow devastated East Longmeadow, 5-0, in the semifinal round of Western Mass. The class tournament on Monday.
With the victory, the Lanchers continued their regulars in the Playoffs, improving the season 18-0.
Sarah Tiru (6-1, 6-0) lost only one point in the victory of his singles, while Bailey Downes (6-0, 6-0) did not miss any point in his victory. For the final game of the single, Kelci Talati (6-4, 6, -0) again bounced off his first game in the dominant fashion.
For doubles, Ellen Kennedy and Nora McMahon (6-1, 6-2) and Tess Maggi and Maia Oh (6-2, 6-4) to complete a sweep.
Longmeadow will move to number 2 Amherst to have a chance at a second western consecutive mass. Title on a TBD date and time.

Amherst passed ahead of Ludlow, 4-1, on Monday in the semifinals round of the Western Mass Tournament.
Katie Gromacki (6-0, 6-0) and Emma Leen-Miller (6-4, 6-4) took the first two singles for hurricanes, but Ava Moutinho (6-1, 6-1) of the Lions again avoided a sweep of Singles Amherst.
Daniella Sherman and Aliya Osman (5-7, 7-6, 9-7) had a harsh doubles, but they reached the top. Janaki Ewoton and Elena Ruiz (6-2, 6-0) had an easier time to help hurricanes to devastate doubles.
Amherst will take on Longmeadow # 1 to shoot at Western Mass. Title on a TBD date and time.
