At least one person died in an explosion on Saturday morning near a Fertility Clinic of Palm Springs, California, which the authorities call an “intentional act of terrorism”.

Four other people were injured in the explosion, none of which are believed to be members of the clinic’s staff, according to city officials.

In a statementPalm Springs police chief Andy Mills revealed that a person died in an explosion of the vehicle that seemed to be an act of intentional violence. The victim has not yet been identified, said Mills.
He said that the explosive field extended several blocks and severely damaged some nearby buildings. The police chief added that the explosion originated in 1199 N. Indian Canyon Dr., the address listed in the Local Clinic of IVF, North -Americans’ reproduction centers.
“Terrorism reached the Palm Springs door,” Mills said about the incident during a press conference. “We survived. And I can say -you will get up and will be more effective as a lighthouse of hope than before.”
The Firefighters arrived at the scene in a minute, according to the firefighters of Palm Springs, Paul Alvarado. He said they were able to extinguish most of the fire before leaving the building due to the partially collapsed roof.
In the separate emails sent to CBS News, the FBI and the alcohol office, tobacco, firearms and explosives said they send agents to help the investigation.
“Don’t be wrong, this is an act of intentional terrorism,” said Akil Davis, the Deputy Director in charge of the Los Angeles Division of the FBI, during a press conference.
He said that the incident is “probably that of larger bombing investigations in southern California.”

Due to the wide field of remains of the explosion, which occurred within a radius of 250 feet according to the FBI, officials asked residents to leave anything they believed to be alone and to contact them for later investigation.

The Governor of California’s office, Gavin Newsom, issued a statement saying that he had been “informed about the explosion in a Palm Springs health installation”.
“I have been informed about the explosion near a fertility clinic in Palm Springs,” Newsom wrote about X. “Jen and I keep everyone affected in our hearts. The state works closely with local and federal authorities as the investigation is developed. Please avoid the area.”
