Explosion outside Palm Springs fertility clinic “an intentional act of terrorism,” FBI says


At least one person died in an explosion on Saturday morning near a Fertility Clinic of Palm Springs, California, which the authorities call an “intentional act of terrorism”.

In a statementPalm Springs police chief Andy Mills revealed that a person died in an explosion of the vehicle that seemed to be an act of intentional violence. The victim has not yet been identified, said Mills.

He said that the explosive field extended several blocks and severely damaged some nearby buildings. The police chief added that the explosion originated in 1199 N. Indian Canyon Dr., the address listed in the Local Clinic of IVF, North -Americans’ reproduction centers.

“Don’t be wrong, this is an act of intentional terrorism,” said Akil Davis, the Deputy Director in charge of the Los Angeles Division of the FBI, during a press conference.

He said that the incident is “probably that of larger bombing investigations in southern California.”

“I have been informed about the explosion near a fertility clinic in Palm Springs,” Newsom wrote about X. “Jen and I keep everyone affected in our hearts. The state works closely with local and federal authorities as the investigation is developed. Please avoid the area.”
