Daisy also touched on his relationship with the production team, saying that he is still strictly professional.
“We have super strict rules for not breaking the fourth wall. During Covid, they would carry masks and we would not even learn their names. Now we could get a name, but we really have no interaction with them. Sometimes we get to talk at the end of a season during the promotion.”
He also explained how the production team aims to authenticity: “But below Deck wants to be completely without writing and want the camera crew to remain anonymous and as if they are not there. They want you to forget the cameras. And it works because the camera crew almost becomes invisible.”
