A person was seriously injured after Monday was hit by a school bus in the Hyde Park Park area in Boston, giving a response to the police.
At around 2.44 pm, officers learned of a pedestrian hit by a school bus in 107 Washington St., in Hyde Park, said Boston police in a brief statement.
Homicide officers and detectives, along with Boston and EMS firefighters, reached the scene to investigate, according to police.
The school bus and the driver remained in the area after the fall. It is unclear if the person hurt was a student or if the students were on board the bus at the time of the fall.
The person was hospitalized with injuries that endangered his life.
