A suspect that the police say stole a man’s car and struck him with him In a gas station from Massachusetts on Saturday evening she has been arrested in New Jersey, announced Sunday afternoon police.
The officers of the Police Department of the municipality of Robbinsville detained a 32 -year -old man from Livermore Falls, Maine, around 11.30pm on Saturday in relation to the case, said reading police in a statement. He was taken in preventive detention after a brief car and pursuit of his foot.
Reading police will request a term for multiple positions in the Woburn District Court on a later date, said police. He will probably also face criminal charges in Maine and New Jersey.
Reading police received a 911 call that reported that a car had been stolen to a customer while pumping gas at the Shell gas station at 110 Main St. Shortly after 6.30pm, Police said in a statement.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim – a 49 -year -old reading man was pumping gas at his Black 2022 Range Rover Sport when the suspect got on a blue malibu chevrolet and parked next to another bomb, according to police. The Malibu had previously been stolen in Maine.
The suspect abandoned the Malibu, jumped in the driver’s driver’s seat, and fled the site, according to police. The suspect hit and partially struck the victim while driving.
The victim remained in the mirror of Range Rover as the suspect fled the scene and was dragged for about 20 feet, according to police. He was taken to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center with injuries, but it is unclear how serious they are.
