After suffering the first loss of the season Tuesday, Pathfinder Tech again won a 2-1 victory over Monson on Saturday afternoon.
The pioneers (4-1) were directed by Brayden Mega, who reached 11 batters in seven jobs. Mega only allowed four successes and a race (not won), despite not giving up a single walk.
Brody Wetnicka and Dayne Shanley made solid contributions for pioneers at the offensive end with an additional base base.
Austin Macham also had a strong performance in the mound for the Mustangs (4-3), allowing four times and two runs (no won) while he got eight batters and only giving up a walk. Meacam and his teammate, Shane Szado, also pointed twice in the losing effort.
Monson will try to bounce when he welcomes Palmer on Tuesday at 16:00
The pioneers have won four of their first five games and seek to continue this hot streak when they welcome Gateway on Monday at 11:00
