Former IBF Champion Pearder Josh “Leeds Warriot” Varrington, 32-4-1 (8) ASAD Asif Khan, 19-7-1 (5), 10-round unanimous decision was defeated.
In the first four rounds, Varrington dominated. In the fifth circle, Varrington landed the recording that cut the Canan’s left eyebrows. In the first minute of the sixth round, Varrington landed right on his chin, along with pushing, driving Khan to the 8-count’s canvas from Judicial Lison.
A minute later, Lison took the point from Khan for spitting his mouth. The rest of the way, Varrington dominated the good body.
The results were 99-89, 97-91 and 99-90.
Light Josh ‘Paddy’ Padley, 16-1 (5) stopped Southpov Marko Cvetanović, 13-1 (6) at 1:13 Pete of the planned 10 rounds.
In the first minute of the fifth circle, half a dozen shots from Padley dismissed Cvetanović for 8-count since Judge Steve Gray. Soon later, again Padley rejected Cvetanovic with the blows of blows. He beaten the Count, but Judge Siva wisely called the stop.
