Nedham – The Softball Needham team took its steps against Milton on Wednesday afternoon.
Using a patient’s approach and plate disciplined, the rockets were at the base in any way they could and pass around Mcleod Diamond, walking on the Wildcats until the end of 14-5.
“I try to preach to enter the counts of the beaters,” said Needham coach Jamie Nix. “Do not expand your area and look for your pitch, and they did it. They get 2-0 accounts, 2-1 accounts, and it is much easier to get there.”
