Mass. weather: Tuesday night sees lows in the 20s, winds kick up

The dry and windy climate is expected to leave Massachusetts feeling coldly unreasonable on Tuesday night.

The strong winds are expected to continue after a cold front left the region this afternoon, according to the National Meteorological Service. Winds are likely to reach between 25 and 40 mph, but stronger gusts could be between 45 and 50 mph.

For this reason, the forecasts have published a wind advice that covers most of Massachusetts, except for the south -East of Massachusetts and the CAP. Advice will be in effect until 23 hours

“The friendly winds will blow around unvocated objects,” he read the advice. “The limbs of the trees could be dropped and some electrical interruptions may occur. So strong winds can make it difficult to driving, especially for large -profile vehicles. Use a lot of precaution.”

It is expected that the minimums during the night will be mostly in the 1920’s, with Pittsfield’s exceptions seeing a minimum of 18 degrees and Provintetown seeing a minimum of 30. But wind chills could leave areas feeling as if in adolescents or, in the interior, in simple digits. These gusts should facilitate the night, but the gusts could still be between 20 and 30 mphs on Wednesday morning.

While the winds are maintained, on Wednesday the sun is expected to return, according to predictors. Temperatures should be at the 40 tall for the coastal plain, while the interior should see the highs of the 30 and the 40 lower ones in the center of the center and western Massachusetts.

Another storm will probably appear later on Thursday, continuing a weekly cycle that should be held at the weekend, according to forecasts.

“We will finally break it, but not this weekend,” the forecasts wrote.

The restless climate should be developed on Thursday night on Friday, the foreseen continued. The exact calendar and impact of this storm are uncertain, but the ground floor should appear on Friday night on Saturday morning, followed by scattered showers on Saturday afternoon from Saturday to Sunday. Temperatures should return to the 50’s during this period.
