Two teens who died in a shot at a Brockton shopping center On Saturday, with the application of the Law in search of a suspect that the Plymouth District District prosecutor, Tim Cruz, has been armed and dangerous.
Cruz described the night of the shoot as a “very busy night” at the Westgate Mall of Brlockton, when “teenagers and families were checking the new interior trampoline park”.
At 19.04, Brockon police received a 911 call on a shootout on the sidewalk outside a chipotle in Westgate Drive, said Cruz. Police found two fired people, Tymari Albertson, 15, and Cevannah Alvarez, 18.
Albertson declared himself dead at Good Samaritan Hospital, while Alvarez was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he also declared himself dead.
Albertson and Alvarez were not related, Cruz said. The teenage boy was fired twice and the young woman once said.
Brlockton police attended the Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Cruz office on Saturday and an investigation was conducted, continued the district’s lawyer.
In the midst of the investigation, officials received a 22 -year -old Davinci Leonard Mandate, which Cruz said he left the mall after the shooting, took some clothes, and has not been seen since. “
“Leonard is currently the only suspect in this shooting,” said Cruz. “The investigation is in progress and is active. As part of the investigation, it seems that an altercation took place in the car park between Leonard and the victim, Albertson, before the fatal shootout. Leonard is considered to be possibly armed and dangerous.”
From the shooting, police have not recovered their gun used in the shooting, Cruz told journalists. Anyone with information on Leonard’s whereabouts asked Cruz to call at the Massachusetts State Police Merning Center at 1-800-Kapture.
“The event that was a tragedy on Saturday night,” Cruz continued. “Two young people have lost their lives and our hearts go out to their families. This is a sense of lifeless life and a death for gun violence is too much.”
Cruz said that what caused the alternation between Leonard and Albertson is unclear and is part of the general research. It was also confirmed that Albertson was a student at Brockton public schools.
Cruz told journalists that there would be accounts of the death of Albertson and Alvarez and that the process could begin if Leonard became the application of the law.
“Enter yourself,” Cruz said, talking directly to Leonard. “Enter -s and let the process start.”
