A woman from Worcester faces charges after police say that he stole another woman’s vehicle while picking up his son before falling into a police cruise.
Omaira Torres, 43, is accused of larcenia of a motor vehicle According to Worcester Police Department.
Worcester police said they went to Sterling Street after they received a report from a stolen vehicle. A woman said she left the vehicle running while she was picking up her son. When he returned, he saw someone heading to Sterling Street.
The officers said that Torres saw Torres on Millbury Street at 17.41 when Torres saw police, invested the vehicle and crashed by a police cruise.
He drove on Millbury Street and then on Harding Street to the coming traffic, said police. He stopped at the intersection of Harding Street and Quinigamond Avenue. Torres was arrested and police found that his license was suspended.
