Andrews is better aware of the violation of McDaniels than anyone and, according to McCourty, who would have benefited Drake Maye.

“I think this would have helped Drake. It seems that the team could have benefited. But I don’t know (what went into the decision).”

McCourty said he would have loved being a fly on the wall listening to these deliberations. But if it was up to him, he would have stuck with Andrews.

The patriots, However, he published the veteran center and the captain 8 times last week.

“David is older, causing an injury. But he is a leader, he has been there, he knows the offense of Josh McDaniels,” said McCourty. “Keep it for the camp and then release it if it is.”
