So far, the president of South Korea has survived an impeachment vote. Yoon Suk Yeol briefly declared martial law earlier this week, shocking the nation. Today, an initial motion to expel Yoon failed to meet a quorum as all but one member of his party walked out of the legislative chambers before the first impeachment vote.
