The National Meteorological Service published a report on Thursday 3:31 AM to freeze rain and snow until 10 am for Berkshire County.
“A fast moving snow area continues to disassociate the region early in the morning by producing a rapid coating at 1 snow before changing in the rain between 6 and 9 in the morning. Temperatures will pass around 32 degrees during the transition from snow to rain, so that frozen rain pockets will be possible before the temperatures can rise above the freezing. Potential for frozen rainfall ice cream, slippery travel conditions are possible during the morning trip.
