It’s been just over a year since then Robert Kraft separated with Bill BelichickBut after 24 years at the helm, the coach’s impact is still feeling Foxborough.
He drafted four months after Belichick’s dismissal, Drake Maye never overlap him in New England, but both crossed the roads to Chapel Hill, where Maye starred in Belichick Now coaches.
“Was great” Maye told Chris Long. “It was impressive.”
Above Podcast “Light Green”, Maye explained how current players are “safe” still feel Belichick’s influence daily at the Gillette stadium.

Jerod Mayo has been fired, but Maye’s new coaches, Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels, both spent years under Belichick. Maye told Long that he has talked to the two coaches “three or four times each” at the time of the low season. He believes that Vrabel’s experience as the main coach in Tennessee can “season” a little for the patriots and said he wants to be strongly trained by the new staff.
