Samsung finally took the stage to unveil its latest smartphone series at its Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California, showing off the successor to the 2024 model. the best android phone – the Galaxy S24 Ultraand announcing how it made artificial intelligence harder (didn’t everyone?).
The tech giant launched three new phones: S25S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. While the Galaxy AI may be the center of attention, it shouldn’t be overlooked just how great the devices are clearly. From our early testing, we were impressed with the camera improvements and the timeless and durable design.
During the rest of the Unpacked event, expect surprise announcements in the form of Samsung’s XR glasses, as well as the all-new S25 Slim, which could be unveiled in the summer.

As predicted, it’s the Galaxy S25 Ultra that gets the biggest design refresh in 2025. The tech giant ditched sharp corners in favor of rounded edges.

Samsung Galaxy ring 2 could be launched soon
While it’s unlikely we’ll hear much about the next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy ring, one rumor DigiTimes claims it could be teased at Galaxy Unpacked later tonight and then released sometime in the summer. Currently, rumors are thin on the ground, but it could launch with two additional sizes and longer battery life, as well as integrate even more AI smarts.
