FOXBOROUGH — No. 1 Shawsheen Valley Tech defeated No. 3 Foxborough, 14-0, in the Division V state football championship Friday at Gillette Stadium. The victory in the state title game caps the team’s undefeated season and gives them their first state title in program history.
The Rams scored both of their touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Both were short to quarterback Sidney Tildsley’s goal line. The Warriors had 58 yards of total offense in the game. Shawsheen Valley collected 142 yards of total offense with 96 on the ground.
