KALLE SAUERLAND is calling on the fans to guide him when it comes to the third season of the World Boxing Super Series. The promoter hopes that the new season, with weight classes “between one and three”, will start in the first half of 2021.
Sauerland, which is in the early stages of planning, said Boxing News that there are currently five potential tournaments in play: heavy category; light-heavy; middle category; fly/super-fly; and women in the super-heavyweight division.
The next stage of development is measuring exactly what fans want. Once he has that information, he will formulate his proposal and present it to the VBSS Board.
“It’s more important than ever that fans get their voice,” Sauerland explained BN. “Tell me what you want.” Don’t worry about politics and promoters and broadcasters or what feuds are already in the planning stages. We have already overcome significant obstacles and will do so again.
“Call me Bob Geldof from boxing!”
“You see, I’m a statistician and there’s one thing I’m good at.” It’s not complicated: there’s one calculus that everyone should think about: the best against the best equals a damn good tear!”
Watch the video below and get in touch; you as fans, and what you want to see, really matters and you can make a difference.
Fans and readers should take to Twitter – @SauerlandBros or @BokingNevsED – and give Sauerland their preferences for (1) the weight division and (2) which fighters they want included. Or you can email directly to: info@vorldbokingsuperseries.com
