Devin Haney confirmed talks with Turki Al-Sheikh about a potential fight

Devin Haney revealed today that the reason he traveled to London for his ring was to meet with Turki Al-Shieh to “talk about what’s next.”

Fans questioned why Hannay, 26, would be training in the ring in London when he has no fights scheduled and is coming off a humiliating loss to Ryan Garcia. It didn’t make sense until now. Devin came to meet Turkey, hoping to fight on one of his cards, and possibly for big money.

Turkish Talks

The recently defeated Hanei (31-0, 15 KOs) wants to fight on one of Turki’s season cards in Riyadh. However, Al-Shiekh tends to take competitive fights for his career, and that could be bad for Hanei as he’s shown to be weak in the chin department.

If Henny gets knocked out by whoever Turki picks for him, there will be a lot of interest in a rematch with Ryan Garcia. A fight could still happen, but it would be seen as a joke. Haney would be ready for a dump, seen as a hype business, which was never as good as gullible fans thought.

His best wins were against George Kambossos, Regis Prograis and Vassily Lomachenko. As most know, Heaney’s win over Lomachenko was highly controversial in a fight he appeared to lose, but he won by a 12-round decision in Las Vegas. Kambosos was just a flawed, low-level, one-hit-wonderone-hit who built his career by beating a confused, rusty, injured Teofimo Lopez.

Chasing The Paidai

“I want to fight everyone.” You all know I don’t like fights. I want the biggest fights to happen. I want to fight the best fighter in the world. That’s one of the reasons I’m here. I’m here to meet with His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh to discuss what’s next,” Devin Hannay told media today at his London training session, explaining why he traveled to the UK to show off.

“Turki offered Theo for much more money than his offer was.” He rejected him for whatever reason and that stopped the fight. It is a fight that can still be fought. One thing I am focused on is that I want to fight on a level playing field with everyone.

“I want to be a spokesperson for pure boxing because I really experienced it.” “I’ve experienced being cheated on and what it’s like to fight someone who’s on PEDs,” said Haney, referring to his fight with Ryan Garcia. “I want to clean the box.” So that’s my male focus right now.”
