Daniel Dubois wants to “stop” the victories that Alexander Usyk attributed to British fighters, winning one after another and making it look easy. Usyk is 7-0 against the British and looks unbeatable right now.
Can someone stop Usik?
It’s probably not a good idea for Dubois to mess with Usyk as he already lost to him once by a ninth-round knockout on August 26, 2023. Losing the rematch would destroy the momentum he gained from that horrible experience.
It would be wiser for Dubois to focus on trying to rematch Anthony Joshua because it’s a winner-takes-all fight, and he would pay huge money.
IBF heavyweight champion Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) thinks he is the one who can end the streak of former two-division undisputed champion Usyk.

I don’t know why it bothers Dubois so much that Usyk is beating his countrymen because they would lose to other fighters if they were willing to take them. If you put Joshua or Fury in with Martin Bakole, they would be as bad or worse than what Usyk did.
Dubois: British last hope?

I want to become undisputed and win all the belts. I have to get through Parker, but I want to go unchallenged.
“It was a close fight. He’s been winning the last few rounds,” Dubois said of Usyk’s victory over Tyson Fury in their Dec. 21 rematch. “It’s going to be a big fight between me and either of them, Fury or Usyk.” That’s my mindset right now.
“I was a candidate for a long time. I’m a champion and I want to move like a champion and take no prisoners. I want to go through Usik like a train,” Dubois said.
The way Alexander dominated ‘The Gypsy King; Tyson Fury made it clear in their rematch last month that he owns the British fighters and will continue to beat them until he gets old.
Fury (36) looked older in the rematch with Usik and it is not surprising that he was defeated. The first fight took something out of him, leaving him the worn-out, worn-out fighter Usyk faced last month. It was a pitiful spectacle that Fury made of himself, complaining in the post-fight press conference that he had won by three rounds. There are no words to describe what a grumpy, miserable sport he is.
