A federal judge appointed by Trump has sentenced Guy Refit – the first defendant in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots to stand trial – to 80 months in prison.
Reffitt delivered a profanity-laced tirade in court, but said he wasn’t so much “in my feelings” because Trump had won, Politico reports.
“No one has a problem with your feelings,” said Judge Dabney Friedrich. “Those are the actions you took.”
Reffitt, who carried a firearm into the Capitol, helped inflame the riot, engaging in a lengthy standoff with police as the mob rallied behind him. He repeatedly expressed his desire to overthrow the Congress.
He has also become a vocal member of the “J6 family” since the first verdict.

Speaking this morning about the House Democratic agenda, New York Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries told reporters, “The incoming Republican majority in the House won’t be able to do much without us.”
He added, “To the extent that there was any mandate that came out of this last election, it’s that the American people want us to work hard to lower the high cost of living and to lower the cost of groceries, the cost of gas, the cost of child care and the cost of housing.”
Jeffries also noted that MAGA Republicans repeatedly say one thing before the election and do another after.
He warned that Social Security and Medicare are now at risk.
