While the magnificence may not be as great as some previous efforts, there’s still plenty to sink your teeth into. Young prospects are competing for that vital next positive step. Old-school stalwarts are making one last attempt to turn back the clock. Candidates for the title of world champion fought for the right to advance. Let’s see exactly who will grace the ring this Saturday night at Wembley Arena.
Brad Pauls vs. Denzel Bentley
Fans should be in for a quality main event between contrasting but complimentary styles. British middleweight champion Brad Pauls is looking to cap off a successful 2024 by adding a European title and some world-class fringe belts to his trophy cabinet.
Pauls beat Heaney in the last time out, while the skinny Bentley lost to Heaney. That doesn’t mean much here, though, as the Bentley blows hot and cold. If he emerges without any distractions, Pauls must be in top form to win.
Sam Noakes vs Ryan Walsh
After being served the embarrassment of going the distance in his European title fight against Ivan Mendy, Maidstone’s Sam Noakes returned to his best shot against Gianluca Cella. Ryan Walsh turned pro in 2008, is 38 years old and has outlived his boxing brethren. Even with four defeats and two draws on the record, Walsh’s professionalism means he remains a tricky customer. Noakes’ size and strength will be hot to handle.
Solomon Dacres vs. David Adeleie
Two heavyweights meet at the crossroads of their careers, and the loser is destined to find himself in a difficult position and advance. Dacres is unbeaten but has struggled to impress. ‘The Real Deal’ banished the spirit of Michael Webster one last time, after their close first fight. Adeleie has not been seen since his loss to Fabio Wardley over a year ago. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in what could be a slow affair.

Lawrence Neighborhood vs. Hussein Muhammad
A fresh start for Okolie, who left the cruiserweight division, danced his way through the bridger and now brings his own unique blend of boxing to the heavyweight division. New promoter Frank Warren is also tasked with rebranding a bit. German opponent Muhammed has 18 wins on his list, but his only loss to Zhan Kossobutskyi speaks volumes about his career prospects.
Aloys Jumby v Lewis Oakford
A battle between two men who suffered one loss each. Ioumbi is a notable player, although Oronzo Birardi played him the full 10 rounds last time out, which will benefit the 21-year-old in the long run. Oxford bounced back from their first career defeat with victory at York Hall in October. This is a well-matched next step for both men.
Sean Noakes v Matthew Rennie
Looking to build on his English light heavyweight title over Inder Bassey at o2, one half of the Noakes brothers, Sean, defends his belt and 8-0 record. Opponent Matthew Rennie is also unbeaten and moving up in weight so should be strong. However, Rennie is not crazy.

Dublin powerhouse Pierce O’Leary features alongside handsome prospect Royston Barney-Smith, who takes on Andres Navarrete. Super featherweights Billy Adams and debutant George Crotty will also aim to impress.
