One of the Coronation StreetThe most famous members of the cast shed a tear as she said goodbye to the soap opera after 50 years on screen.
Helen Worth, who plays Gail Platt, said goodbye to the cobblestone streets ITV show in its Christmas special on Wednesday.
She delivered her final lines surrounded by her fictional family members in the Platt living room.
Worth told her fellow actors, “The reason I’ve been here all these years … is because of all you people.
“I couldn’t do any of it without you.”
