But as the rounds progressed, Stevenson began to find a beautiful slot where he landed more, sharper and cleaned, despite the fact that Zepeda usually threw more strokes.
At the end of the 12 rounds of very fun action, Stevenson got a unanimous uniform decision. The two judges reached 118-110, and the other had 119-109, and everything seemed wider than the action dictated in the eyes of most fans.
