“What we learned from the prisons office was every night that this video is redone. It is old, as in 1999. So every night the video is restored and every night I should have the same minute. So we look for this video to release too, showing that one minute is missing every night,” he said.
Epstein died from suicide in his prison cell in August 2019, weeks after his arrest for allegations of sexual traffic.
The note found that he did not have a so -called “customer list”, contradicting Bondi’s previous statements on the case. In an interview with Fox News earlier this year, he suggested that this list was “sitting on my desk” and was ready to be released.
Bondi was grilled on his previous comments on Tuesday. He said he was referring to the Epstein case file in general as his table and not on the client list.
The theory of conspiracy promoted by some conservatives suggested that Epstein had a list of great profile customers to whom the minor girls were traffled. But the note said that the researchers found no “incriminating list” of customers and “no credible evidence” that Epstein blackmailed people of high level.
“One of our highest priorities is to combat child exploitation and bring justice to victims,” the note said. “To perpetuate theories without foundation on Epstein is of no use of these ends.”
In a March interview, Bondi stated that the Biden administration hid documents that would reveal more about the infamous case.
“Unfortunately, these people do not believe in transparency, but I think, unfortunately, I think many do not believe in honesty,” he said at that moment.
The findings outraged the conservatives who have sought the Government’s government’s proof of Epstein’s activities.
