Dense fog advisory issued for 5 Massachusetts counties until Tuesday morning – 1/4 mile visibility

The National Meteorological Service on Tuesday published dense fog advice at 4 am until 8 am for Bristol, Plymouth, Barnsable, Dukes and Nantucket.

The meteorological service adds to be ready for “visibility a quarter of a mile or less in dense fog”.

“Low visibility could make the driving conditions dangerous,” says the Meteorological Service. “If you drive, slow down, use the headlights and leave a lot of distance in front.”
